Who we are
This website is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing and lead generation company doing business as Compass Lead Group. We are a referral and referral service for roofing projects in coastal North Carolina. We are not a contractor and do not perform roofing work.
What we collect
When you submit our form, we collect the four things it asks for: your name, your phone number, the county or town where the property sits, and what the job is. If you email us instead, we collect whatever you put in that email. Our hosting and analytics infrastructure also logs technical data such as IP addresses and page-visit information.
How we use it
We use your information to send your request to an independent local roofing professional, to follow up on your inquiry, and to improve this service. We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising lists.
Who we share it with
Your inquiry details are shared with the independent local roofing professional we send your request to, so they can contact you about your project. Technical service providers also process data on our behalf: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our form processor (Web3Forms), and our email provider. Each receives only what it needs to run the service.
How long we keep it
We retain inquiry records, including the consent captured with your form submission, for at least five years, consistent with FCC guidance on documenting telephone contact consent, then delete them on a rolling basis unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of calls at any time by asking to be removed during any call. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the retention obligations above. Send any of these requests to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. California residents may exercise the access, deletion, and correction rights provided by the CCPA and CPRA through the same address.
